The race.
The Higgins Lake Sunrise Run on June 20, 2026, in Roscommon, Michigan, offers four race distances: a 13.1-mile half-marathon, 10K, 5K, and 1-mile kids' fun run. The half-marathon begins at Higgins Lake North State Park and concludes at Higgins Lake South State Park, while the 10K and 5K start together at 8:30 AM and the kids' race starts at 9:30 AM. Packet pickup and registration take place Friday, June 19, from 4:30–6:30 PM at NMCAC (112 S 4th St, Roscommon, MI) and again Saturday morning from 6:00–8:20 AM at South State Park Camp Store Pavilion. The race benefits the Northern Michigan Children's Assessment Center.
