About the race
The race.
Tri-State Fitness hosts a 5K on July 4, 2026, in Newburgh, IN, starting at 7:00 AM at Friedman Park. The out-and-back course starts and finishes at the West Pavilion. Late registration runs Friday, July 3 from 5–6 pm at Ultimate Fit Shoes, or Saturday morning at the park from 6:15–6:45 am. Finishers receive medals; race shirts are unavailable. Awards go to overall male and female winners, plus runners-up in each of 9 age groups (13 & under through 80+), with top 4 finishers per gender in each age group recognized. Proceeds benefit Oliver's Heroes Retired K9 Association, which receives at least $2 per entry.
