About the race

The race.

This Thursday evening mountain bike ride on July 16, 2026, departs from the Mount Herman Trailhead at Monument Preserve Parking in Colorado Springs. Five group options accommodate different skill levels: Beginner Hangout, Beginner, Beginner/Intermediate Hangout Pace, Beginner/Intermediate, and Advanced. The ride starts at 6:00 p.m. with check-in by 5:45 p.m. and is expected to conclude by 8:00 p.m. All groups operate under a no-drop policy. Riders should bring a mountain bike in reliable condition, a helmet, water, snacks, and sunscreen.
