The race.
The Liberty Station Adventure Race Training Event on August 22, 2026, features a 41-mile course combining trekking, biking, and kayaking. The race starts at 5 a.m. from the parking lot at 2335 Cushing Road in San Diego and finishes at the same location. Participants navigate eight stages using provided maps and compasses, with no GPS devices permitted. The course includes approximately 2.5 miles of trekking, 11 miles of kayaking, 23–25 miles of biking, and additional trekking sections. Registration closes August 20 at noon. Water and restroom support are available at designated transition areas throughout the race.
