Light the Way 5K - Benefiting Make A Wish Georgia 2026

The race.

Light the Way 5K is a community road race scheduled for Saturday, May 9, 2026, at 8:00 AM, benefiting Make-A-Wish Georgia and a local Paulding County family. The 5K starts and finishes at Veterans Memorial Park in Dallas, GA, with the course running through the park and Watson Government Complex. Registration is $30 for individuals or $50 per couple, and includes an event shirt. Pre-registration packet pickup occurs Friday, May 8 from 4:00–6:00 PM at the Administration Building Cafeteria Lobby. Awards are given to the top three male and female finishers and top masters male and female finisher across age categories ranging from 10 & Under through 70 & Over. Parking is available on-site, though park roads close at 7:30 AM on race day.
