Ludlow Volunteer Firefighters Association 5 Alarm 5k Road Race/Walk 2026

The race.

The Ludlow Volunteer Firefighters Association hosts a 5K road race and walk on Saturday, September 5, 2026, starting at 9:00 AM with registration from 7:30 AM at the Ludlow Community Center, 37 Main Street, Ludlow, VT. Pre-registration costs $25 (or $30 day-of); those registering by September 4th receive a race T-shirt. The event awards trophies to the top three finishers in each of fourteen age categories (male and female divisions from 11-and-under through 60-and-over), plus a best team costume award. A post-race cookout with burgers and hot dogs is included. Two department challenges award trophies: one for the fastest average time among five runners from a single fire department, and one for the department with the largest participation across all runners, walkers, and supporters.
