About the race

The race.

Miles For Margaritas takes place on May 3, 2026, in Stratford, Connecticut. The event offers a chip-timed 5K run/walk (3.11 miles) and an untimed one-mile walk, both starting at 9:00 a.m. A free kids fun run for ages 9 and under begins at 8:40 a.m. All participants receive a t-shirt; 5K finishers are eligible for age-group awards (gift cards for ages 19 and over, medals for ages 18 and under). Participants age 21 and over may purchase margaritas at the finish, along with other refreshments. Bib and packet pickup occurs Saturday, May 2 (8:30–11:00 a.m.) or Sunday morning (7:30–8:59 a.m.) at Little Pub on Washington Parkway. Registration is limited to 300 participants and is currently sold out for the 5K; limited spots remain for the one-mile walk and kids fun run.
