About the race
The race.
The NC Blueberry Festival 5K takes place Saturday, June 20, 2026, in Burgaw, NC, starting in front of Burgaw Presbyterian Church at 200 E Fremont Street. Participants can choose between a timed 5K (3.1 miles) or an untimed 1-mile event, both of which can be walked or run. Registration is available online before race day or on-site during packet pickup and race morning via QR code. The Burgaw Tourism Development Authority sponsors the Blueberry Cup award for top male and female finishers. Race proceeds benefit PATH (Pender Alliance for Total Health), which provides integrated healthcare services to youth and families in Pender County through school-based health centers.
