About the race
The race.
The Northport Downhill Mile takes place on Saturday, June 13, 2026 at 9:00 AM in Northport, NY. The 1-mile certified downhill course runs down Main Street from the Brosnan School Building on Laurel Avenue to Northport Village Park at the waterfront. Bib pickup and day-of registration occur from 7:45 AM to 8:40 AM at the start. Entry is $25 if registered before June 12 at 1:00 PM, $30 after that deadline and on race day, and free for participants 18 and under. Awards are presented to the top 3 overall finishers and top 3 finishers in each age group (five-year increments from ages 5–99) by gender. The post-race awards ceremony takes place at Northport Village Park.
