The race.
Patrick's Downtown Race to Summer 5K takes place June 16, 2026, in Scotch Plains, NJ. The 5K race starts at 7:30 p.m., with a kids' fun run (1 mile for ages 10 and under) at 7:00 p.m. Bib and t-shirt pickup is available at two pre-race locations: Thursday, June 11, 6:30–8:30 p.m. at Shady Rest Country Club, or Monday, June 15, 6:30–8:30 p.m. at Alan Augustine Village Green. On race day, check-in opens at 5:00 p.m., with same-day registration closing at 6:30 p.m. (t-shirt not guaranteed for day-of registrants). Post-race festivities include a BBQ, beer truck, and live music.
