The race.
The Pumpkinfest Run South Lyon 5K takes place on September 26, 2026, at Island Lake State Recreation Area in Brighton, MI. The grass course follows the same route used by South Lyon cross country teams for over 30 years, marked with a painted line and staffed with marshals. Participants receive a tech shirt, refreshments, awards, and tickets redeemable at the Pumpkinfest Festival.
