R3 Chase the Sun Challenge 2026

The race.

The R3 Chase the Sun Challenge is a 30-mile virtual event running from June 1 through August 31, 2026, based in Anytown, Florida. Participants complete their miles at their own pace using any method—running, walking, hiking, or treadmill—and track progress on an interactive Florida Keys route map. Registration includes a finisher medal, charm, custom Tyvek race bib, printable digital certificate, and access to collectible milestone badges at 1, 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 28, and 30 miles, with bonus badges available for distances up to 60 miles. Participants who register before the challenge opens are entered into a drawing for a free registration to a future R3 Run Club event. Swag ships at the beginning of June for early registrants and within one week of registration thereafter. The event welcomes walkers, runners, and athletes of all experience levels, with community connection opportunities through the R3 Run Club's Facebook and Strava presence.
