The race.
The Red, White and Blue in Bethany 5K takes place on June 13, 2026, in Bethany, CT, starting at the Old Schoolhouse at Bethany Community School. The road course is flat and open to traffic, with runners on the right side of the road. Finishers receive bagels and beer (age 21+), with beverages donated by NEBCo Brewery and bagels by Olmo Bagels. The first 150 registered participants receive bells. The race is part of Bethany's 250th celebration of American independence, with additional town activities including music, food, and kids' games and activities beginning at 11 a.m. at town hall.
