The race.
The Rocket Run 5K takes place on June 13, 2026, in Bowerston, OH, starting and finishing at the high school football field's 50-yard line. The 5K race begins at 8:15 a.m., with a separate Rocket Dash event for ages 12 and under starting at 8:00 a.m. around the football field. Registration and packet pickup open at 6:30 a.m. the day of the race. The 5K is free with no registration required for adults, though those 12 and under must register to participate. Finishers receive chip timing, refreshments, and awards; top-three finishers in overall and age-group categories (13 & under through 80+) earn awards, and all Rocket Dash participants receive medals. Register by May 29 to receive a race shirt.
