The race.

Run The Bluegrass takes place on Saturday, May 16, 2026, in Lexington, Kentucky. The event offers three distances: a half marathon (13.1 miles), 10K, and 5K, all starting and finishing at Talon Winery. Packet pickup occurs at John's Run/Walk Shop locations and Talon Winery from Tuesday, May 12 through Friday, May 15, with no race-day pickup available. Following the race, participants can enjoy food and beverages from local trucks and Talon Winery. All racers must arrive by 6:30 a.m.; the half marathon has a 14-minute per mile pace limit with a sweeper bus at the turnaround point. Bib transfers and distance changes close on May 1, virtual race switches on May 9, and 2027 deferrals on May 14.
