The race.
The RVA Mile takes place October 25, 2026, in Henrico, VA, featuring a 1-mile race and a 0.25-mile race for ages 5 and under. The course is closed to traffic and loops around Regency Square Mall. Participants are assigned to heats by age and gender with staggered start times; an Elite Wave with an equalizer format starts the event. Race t-shirts are guaranteed for registrations received by October 16. An awards ceremony follows racing, and a fall festival with games, activities, and refreshments continues afterward. Cash awards from race proceeds support Physical Education programs at area schools.
