The race.
The Stigma Stomp takes place on Saturday, May 30, 2026, in Barco, NC, featuring a 3.1-mile run/walk and a 1-mile option. The event starts at 8 AM at the Currituck County Extension Center (120 Community Way), with packet pickup beginning at 6:50 AM race morning. All participants receive a t-shirt, finisher's medal, chip timing, light refreshments, and a commemorative wristband. The course is stroller-friendly, and on-site parking and restrooms are available. Registration costs $38 for adults, $30 for teens, $25 for ages 6–12, and is free for children 5 and under; a virtual option is also available for $38. The event supports mental health and suicide prevention awareness.
