The race.

The Summer Sundown Rundown at Kempton is a trail circuit run held August 1, 2026, in Kempton, PA, organized by Fifth Street Cross. Participants run laps of approximately 1.6 miles, with distances extending to 35.7 miles depending on individual endurance and available time. The event features a single start and course, with runners completing as many laps as possible before time expires. Registration is available day-of via cash, credit card, or Venmo, with juniors up to age 16 racing for $10. The winner is determined by the last person able to complete a lap. Post-race, participants enjoy burgers, s'mores, and complimentary beer for those 21 and older provided by sponsor Bright Path Brewing Company. Limited onsite parking is available; carpooling is encouraged.
