Competitors run one mile on a track over four laps in Pinckney, Michigan on June 11, 2026. Each lap requires drinking 12 ounces of chocolate milk before crossing the start/finish line. The event features two divisions: Open (all ages and skill levels welcome) and Elite (12 invited athletes, six from each side of Michigan). Open race begins at 8:35 p.m. with awards for the top three men and women finishers plus a 400-meter champion. Elite competition starts at 9:20 p.m. with top three overall awards and a Golden Milk Jug for the winning region. Bibs are distributed day-of; results post the following day online. Shirts are available for purchase.
