About the race
The race.
The Great Pumpkin Race offers a 5K run/walk available in both live and virtual formats. The live event takes place at Lewis County Fairgrounds Pavilion in Lowville, NY on Saturday, October 24, starting at 9:00 AM, with professional timing and awards for top male and female finishers. The virtual option begins Friday, September 25. Registration includes a race shirt and medal; shirts are guaranteed only for registrations received by Friday, October 9. Race day registration ($40) is available until 8:45 AM. Costume prizes are awarded in categories including funniest, scariest, most creative, and best group. All participants receive door prize entries, and refreshments are served after the event.
