About the race

The race.

The Old School @ Lincoln Parish Park offers five trail running distances on March 21, 2026, in Ruston, Louisiana: 5 miles, 10 miles, 20 miles, a secret 30-mile option, and a standard 30-mile race. All races start at 8 a.m. from Lincoln Parish Park. The course consists of dirt and mud trails with aid stations at the start/finish area and on the course near miles 4 and 6. Every finisher receives a medal, with awards for overall top three finishers and first place in ten-year age group brackets. Runners who register by March 12 are guaranteed race shirts; red beans and rice with sausage are provided post-race. Price tiers apply, with increases on February 1 and March 1. RV camping costs $45 per night and tent camping $25 per night.
