About the race
The race.
The Prairie Triathlon at NorthPointe takes place on Saturday, June 13, 2026, starting at 8:00 a.m. in Roscoe, Illinois. The event consists of a 350-yard pool swim (one lap per lane), a 17-mile bike course through Winnebago and Boone Counties, and a 3.1-mile run on campus trails combining blacktop and crushed limestone. Registration closes June 7, 2026, at midnight with no race-day registration accepted. Race packets are available Friday, June 12, from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m., or race morning from 6:00 to 7:30 a.m. Entry fees are $45 for individuals and $90 for teams, with proceeds benefiting the Stateline Boys & Girls Club. A kids' fun fair runs from 8:00 to 11:00 a.m.
