About the race
The race.
The Squirrel Scramble 5K and Fun Run takes place June 13, 2026, at Querbes Park in Shreveport, Louisiana. The Fun Run starts at 7:30 a.m., followed by the 5K at 7:45 a.m. The course follows paths and fairways throughout the park. All participants receive a T-shirt and finisher's medal. Breakfast, soft drinks, water, and beer are available at the finish. Door prizes will be awarded. Race proceeds benefit the Querbes Park Foundation.
