The race.
The Thunderbolt 5K and 1 Mile Walk takes place on June 14, 2026, in Millville, NJ, benefiting the Millville Army Airfield Museum. Participants can check in starting at 9 a.m., with the race beginning at 10 a.m. The course features both a 5K running option and a 1-mile walking option. Finishers receive medals, and top three finishers in each category earn awards. A post-race reception at Glasstown Brewing Company begins around 11 a.m., featuring music and a food truck. Runners 21 and older receive one complimentary beer; additional beer sales contribute $1 per pint to the museum. Participants also receive a pint glass and coaster, plus post-race photos.
