Tomahawk Pow Wow Days 5K/10K/Fun Run 2026

The race.

The 49th annual Tomahawk Pow Wow Days races include 5K and 10K events plus a 1-mile fun run, held July 4, 2026, in conjunction with Lion's Day Festivities. All races start at Veterans Memorial Park on the Wisconsin River; the 5K and 10K begin at 8:30 AM, and the 1-mile fun run starts around 9:30 AM. The 10K follows a scenic route along the river toward Kings Hill and the historic Kings Dam, while the 5K is a flatter looped course through the area. The 1-mile fun run is open to all ages with awards for children 12 and under. Bib and t-shirt pickup for pre-registered participants begins at 7:00 AM under the park gazebo; t-shirts are guaranteed only for registrations completed by June 12, 2026. Pre-registration closes at noon on July 3rd. Top three finishers in each 5K and fun run age group receive medals, and the top 100 10K finishers receive medals in the finish chute. Refreshments are provided for finishers. A "Most Patriotic" costume contest offers prizes for the top three outfits.
