Description
The Virginia Beach Lifeguard Association (VBLA) - Junior Lifeguard Camp - is committed to teaching the fundamentals of beach safety, first aid and environmental awareness during physically active and fun filled sessions. The Junior Lifeguard Campers will learn from and sometimes along side current and alumni Virginia Beach Lifesaving Service (VBLS) Lifeguards gaining a true sense of the role, responsibilities, and reward of today’s oceanfront lifesavers.
The camps meet and operate on the beach at 24th Street with the VB Surf & Rescue Museum as a base for bad weather. The days in session will start at 8:30am and wrap up at 12:00pm. The final day of each session will consist of competition and lunch provided for all of the campers and the camp will end on those days at 1:00pm.
Registration Fees Include:
Camp Tee Shirt Lunch on last day of Camp JG GOLD Membership in the United States Lifesaving Association.Includes American Lifeguard Magazine Subscription USLA JG Membership Card and Packet Gold Membership required to compete in the USLA sanctioned competitions
