Yell County Freedom 4-Miler 2026

The race.

The Yell County Freedom 4-Miler takes place on July 4, 2026, in Dardanelle, Arkansas, starting at 7:00 AM at Veterans Memorial Riverfront Park. The 4-mile course follows a 2-mile out-and-back route along the Dardanelle Trail System, starting near the basketball court at the park, continuing along Front Street and North Second Street under Highway 22 to the Dardanelle Community Center turnaround point, then returning to the start/finish. Packet pickup and same-day registration occur from 5:45 AM to 6:45 AM at the start line. This chip-timed race offers one water stop at the turnaround and awards top-three finishers in overall male and female categories for both runners and walkers, plus top-three awards in ten-year age increments from 0–9 through 80+, with awards beginning at 8:30 AM. Finishers receive a shirt and medal if registered by 11:59 PM CST on June 22. Parking is available at Veterans Memorial Riverfront Park.
