What is PodiumBase?

PodiumBase helps runners search eligible published race photos. Professional photographers and spectators can upload event coverage. Bib search may return likely matches where supported data is available; where event, account, consent, age, and jurisdiction gates allow it, consented selfie search may also return likely matches. Coverage and matching results vary by event.

The problem it solves is that race photos have always been hard to find. You finish, you know someone photographed you, and then you scroll thousands of images looking for yourself, or you never see them at all.

How does photo discovery work?

Where event, account, consent, age, and jurisdiction gates allow it, face matching can compare a consented one-time selfie with eligible event photos. Bib search reads the number on your bib where the event supplies supported roster and bib data. Cross-event selfie search is a separate limited-release feature.

What does it cost me as a runner?

What is free varies by event and published inventory. Some organizers or sponsors fund a free gallery; other events sell individual photos or bundles. There is no subscription. Check the race page for the exact offer, and see how much do race photos cost.

Who else uses PodiumBase?

Three groups, on the same platform:

• Runners find and buy their photos, and can register for races.
• Race organizers get their event covered, sell photos to their athletes, and earn a share of every sale.
• Photographers find paid race work and receive eligible payouts through Stripe on the schedule configured for their account.

How do I get my photos?

Search on the race page using the gallery, bib filter, or one-time selfie option that event offers. Cross-event selfie search may appear for eligible accounts in supported jurisdictions; it is not available universally. Eligible matched photos can then appear in your signed-in gallery.
