2026 WWU Virtual ViKing 5K

The race.

The 2026 WWU Virtual ViKing 5K takes place September 7–20, 2026, and is organized by Western Washington University. Participants complete a 5-kilometer distance in any location and format of their choosing within the two-week window. All registrants receive a custom printable race bib and an exclusive 2026 Viking 5K t-shirt, mailed after September 21st. Results can be submitted by email or online, with or without an official time. Participants who submit results through RunSignUp or email a photo with their bib to alumni@wwu.edu are entered into random prize drawings. Proceeds support the WWU Alumni Scholarship Fund.
