The 25th Annual Veteran's Flag Day 5K Run and 1 Mile Walk takes place on Thursday, June 11, 2026, at 7:00 p.m. in Lyons, NJ, with a rain date of June 18. Check-in begins at 5:30 p.m. Participants can compete in a 5K run or 1-mile walk, with a virtual 5K option available and results tracked via Strava. Registration fees are $45 for the 5K run, $40 for the 1-mile walk, and $45 for the virtual 5K; early bird pricing saves $5 through April 30. The course is USATF-sanctioned and certified. All participants receive a free t-shirt. Awards are given to top three overall finishers by gender and to first, second, and third place winners in age groups spanning 14 and under through over 80, plus team categories. Proceeds benefit Community Hope's Hope for Veterans Program, which provides housing and support services to military members and veterans.
