The race.

The 53rd Annual Cazenovia July 4th Foot Races takes place on July 4, 2026, in Cazenovia, NY. The event features a 10-mile race starting at 8:00 am, a 5K race at 8:15 am, and a kids fun run at 8:20 am, along with virtual options for the 10-mile and 5K distances. The 5K and 10-mile races are USATF certified and start near Cazenovia High School; the 5K course runs through Emory Street, Sullivan, Ridge, and Glenwood before finishing in Lakeland Park. Entry fees for the 5K and 10-mile races range from $30 (through June 24) to $45 (July 3), while the fun run is free with an optional $5 t-shirt charge. Age group awards go to the top three finishers in each category for both men and women, with separate overall awards for 5K and 10-mile winners. Packet pickup occurs on July 3 from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm at DeWitt Fleet Feet, or on race day at 7:00 am at CCS Middle School. Online registration only; arrive early due to limited parking.
