Cheetah Chase 5K 2026

The race.

The Cheetah Chase 5K takes place June 27, 2026, at Binder Park Zoo in Battle Creek, Michigan. The 5K course winds through zoo grounds on mixed terrain including asphalt, brick, boardwalk, crushed rock, and grass. Race start is 8:00 a.m., with packet pickup from 6:45 a.m. to 7:45 a.m. on race day; early packet pickup is available Friday, June 26, from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Registration fees range from $50 to $70 depending on registration dates, and include a race shirt, zoo admission pass, and complimentary Bell's beer for participants 21 and older. Awards go to overall winners and top finishers in age categories spanning 14 years and younger through 70 and older. Proceeds benefit Binder Park Zoo's wildlife conservation initiatives. Participation is limited to 1,000 pre-registered participants.
