The race.
Fly the Flag 5K/2K takes place on July 4, 2026, in Crown Point, IN, hosted by Hometown Happenings. The timed 5K costs $30 for adults; the non-timed 2K and kids' entries are $20, with children under 3 free. The course runs along paths and around the lake at the Fairgrounds. Packet pickup occurs from 6:30–7:15 a.m. on race day. Finisher medals go to the first 500 registrants. Awards include top overall, top masters (40+), Clydesdale (men 210+ lbs), Athena (women 170+ lbs), and top three finishers in 16 age groups ranging from 0–8 through 80+. Proceeds benefit local first responders. Optional race shirts cost $16 if purchased by June 22. Referrals earn $20 credit when five friends register using your confirmation link.
