About the race
The race.
The Harvest Moon Run offers 5K and 8K distances starting at 6:30 p.m. on September 25, 2026, at Monogram Sports Complex in Axton, VA. Both races begin and end near the golf driving range and follow the Dick and Willie Passage Trail on paved asphalt. Packet pickup takes place Friday at Martinsville YMCA from noon to 4 p.m. and on race day at the stage from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m. Top 3 overall and age group awards are presented. Live music and beer are available during and after the race, with parking and bathrooms located by the stage.
