Love a Nurse Run 5K 2026

The race.

The Love a Nurse Run 5K takes place on May 9, 2026, in Anchorage, Alaska, with an in-person event at Goose Lake Park starting at 10 AM and a virtual option running May 1–9. The 5K/3.1-mile race benefits the Foundation for Alaska Nurses. In-person participants receive a race bib, t-shirt (available in youth and unisex sizes), and access to post-race snacks, along with Zumba warm-up and yoga cool-down activities. Packet pickup is available Friday, May 8 (4:30–6:30 PM) at the Alaska Nurses Association office or Saturday race morning (8:30–9:30 AM) at Goose Lake Park. Virtual participants can submit results online through May 31 at 11:59 PM; those not attending in-person packet pickup will have shirts shipped for an $8 fee.
