Motherwalk & Run 5K 2026

The 24th Annual Motherwalk & Run 5K takes place on May 8, 2027, at Homewood Central Park in Homewood, Alabama, benefiting the Norma Livingston Ovarian Cancer Foundation. The event offers a USATF-certified 5K, a 1-mile fun run, and virtual options. Race day begins at 6:30 a.m. with registration and packet pickup; the 5K starts at 8:00 a.m. and the fun run at 9:00 a.m. Awards are presented at 9:15 a.m., including overall and age-group honors for the 5K and medals for fun run participants age 14 and under. Pre-race packet pickup is available May 5–7 at Trak Shak in Homewood. Finishers in the first 500 registrations receive t-shirts; fundraisers who raise at least $250 receive a $25 entry fee refund.
