Run 4 Kidtopia 5K/10K (formerly Dan Robinson Memorial Run) 2026

The race.

Run 4 Kidtopia is held May 2, 2026, at Grant Town Park (401 Park Rd, Grant, AL 35747) and features a 9-mile option, 10K, 5K, sleep-in option, and children's fun run and color run. The 10K begins at 7:30 a.m. and the 5K at 8:45 a.m., both starting and finishing at the park. The USTAF-certified courses run through Grant with mostly flat terrain and some inclines, including one at the finish, with water and aid stations on route. Finishers receive medals; first through third place in the 5K and 10K earn $200, $100, and $50 respectively. Age group categories span 14-and-under through 60-and-over for both genders. Race-day packet pickup occurs 6:00–7:00 a.m.; advance registration by April 17 guarantees a t-shirt. Proceeds benefit the Kidtopia Playground Association and a memorial expansion. Rehydration and snacks are provided.
