About the race
The race.
The 54th Annual Ventnor Mile Run takes place on Friday, July 3, 2026, at 7:00 PM on the Ventnor City boardwalk. The 1-mile out-and-back course starts and finishes at the Boardwalk at New Haven Avenue, with a turnaround at Martindale Avenue. Packet pickup and race day registration occur from 5:00 PM to 6:45 PM at the Community Building on Newport Avenue. Pre-registered runners who register by July 1 receive guaranteed t-shirts; additional shirts are distributed first-come, first-served during pickup. Awards are presented to the top three male and female finishers in ten age groups ranging from 8 and under through 76 and older, with the awards ceremony at approximately 7:45 PM on the Newport Avenue stage.
