PodiumBase Photos · Job 01 of 05

The race ends. The relationship doesn’t have to.

Runners who find their photos come back. PodiumBase turns one race day into next year’s registration, without you chasing anyone, and without moving your registration provider.

How it brings them back

Photos are the reason they return.

They find themselves
Event gallery
One public gallery for the race, free or paid, that you review before a frame of it goes live.
Photo and bib search
Type a bib, see the shots, so your inbox does not fill with "which photos are mine."
Selfie discovery
Matched by face, even when the bib is blurred or turned, so more runners reach more of their shots.
They come back on their own
Photo-ready alerts
A notification when their photos go live, while the race is still fresh.
Email follow-up
Leads with their photos, ends with next year’s race, and runs itself.
Get the race covered
Photographer zones
Map the priority locations on your course, assign a photographer to each, and send assignment-specific instructions.
Photographer recruiting support
Publish a public opportunity and review applications when you need coverage. Coverage is not guaranteed until a photographer is assigned.
What makes it personal
Finish-time overlays
Stamp the athlete’s official time and place onto their images once you have imported supported results.
Finisher certificates
A shareable finisher certificate generated from the imported result, free to the athlete.
Race video clips
Short finish-line clips, associated to a bib so video is findable the same way photos are.
They stay yours
Runner Passport profiles
Their eligible photos and race history from supported events, so a returning runner can pick up where they left off.
Return-to-register link
The gallery and passport point the athlete straight back at your next event, routed to whichever provider hosts the entry.
Pages in five languages
English, Spanish, Portuguese, German, and French, so the athlete path reads in their language.
FAQ

Questions race directors ask.

Does bringing athletes back require native registration?

No. Photo discovery, alerts, follow-up, and Runner Passport all work in external mode, alongside your current registration provider. The return-to-register link routes to whichever provider you use.

How do runners find themselves in the gallery?

By bib number or, where event, account, consent, age, and jurisdiction gates allow it, by a selfie that may return likely eligible matches even when the bib is covered, turned, or blurred.

Where can athletes read about selfie matching and privacy?

The public Trust and Safety page and the biometric FAQ carry the athlete-facing explanation of selfie matching, consent, and deletion.
