Advanced Sailing October 17 is a two-day adult sailing class held October 17, 2026, in San Diego, CA at Fiddler's Cove Marina from 9 am to 4 pm. The course is open to eligible MWR patrons and sponsored guests age 16 and older with parental consent. Participants must hold a valid California Boater Card or course completion certificate before the first class. Registration includes boat rental, instruction, and textbooks, with fees varying by military affiliation and rank. Upon completion, participants receive a Navy Sailing Qualification Card. Pre-registration is required, and study materials are available for pickup at Fiddler's Cove Marina boathouse.
