The race.

The Autumn Harvest Trail Weekend takes place October 10–11, 2026, in Bastrop, Texas, hosted by Fit Foundation. The Big Bastrop Backyard Ultra on October 10 begins at 7:00 AM and features a 4.167-mile loop on the Gideon Loop course with aid stations every 2.1 miles. Runners compete in a last-person-standing format with up to 24 loops available and a 32-hour baseline time limit, requiring completion of each loop within 60 minutes. The event includes distances ranging from single loops (4.16 miles) through multiple loops, with field capacity of 70 runners. Mandatory night gear is required before the 7:00 PM loop. Additional distances of 10K and 5K are offered on the weekend.
