Texas Backyard Ultra Series 2026

The race.

The Texas Backyard Ultra Series is a multi-venue championship held across three Texas locations during 2026, organized by Fit Foundation. Each race consists of 4.167-mile loops completed within 60-minute intervals, with participants continuing until unable to start the next loop. The series includes events at three venues: Spicewood (spring), Turkey Bend Recreation Area near Austin (late May), and Lake Bastrop (autumn). Competitors must complete loops at a minimum of two events to appear on the master leaderboard. Points are awarded based on loops completed, with the Spicewood venue offering 1.5× points per loop due to its technical terrain, while other venues award standard points. Winners of individual races earn five bonus points, and the athlete completing the second-to-last loop receives three bonus points.
