Ocean Running Club's Pine Beach 5k & 1 Mile Run AND 5k RUCK 2026

The race.

Ocean Running Club hosts a 5K run/walk and 1-mile run on June 28, 2026, starting at 7:00 am at Vista Park in Pine Beach, New Jersey. The course follows mostly flat roads through the beachside town. Registration closes race morning and is available only online through RunSignUp; no cash accepted at registration. The 5K includes a finisher t-shirt available at packet pickup (shirts not guaranteed if registered after June 11th). Awards go to the top 3 male and female finishers overall and in five-year age groups for the 5K; the 1-mile run awards overall winners only. A ruck division is offered with weighted vests (10 lbs for participants under 150 lbs, 20 lbs for 150 lbs and above), with first-place male and female awards and GO RUCK patches for all ruck finishers. Water stations are positioned at two locations along the course and at the finish line. Port-o-john facilities are available in the park.
