The race.
The Father's Day 5K & 10K takes place June 21, 2026, in Chesterton, Indiana at Imagination Glen East Soccer Fields on the Iron Horse Heritage Trail. Participants can choose between a 5K or 10K distance, with the 10K starting at 7:30 AM and the 5K at 7:45 AM. The course is relatively flat and runs on paved bike trail. Online registration remains open through 7:30 AM race morning, with packet pickup available Friday, June 19th (11 AM–6 PM) or Saturday, June 20th (11 AM–5 PM) at Extra Mile Fitness Company in Valparaiso, or on-site starting at 6:30 AM race day. Overall and age group awards are presented for both distances across age categories from 10 and under through 75 and up. Finishers receive custom awards and timing results via chip timing, with live results available by text and email.
