The Nags Head Sunrise 5K Beach Race Series takes place on June 11, 2026, at Jennette's Pier (7223 S. Virginia Dare Trail, Nags Head, NC) and offers a 3.1-mile 5K and 1-mile race, both starting at 8 AM. The event is chip-timed and welcomes families and walkers. Race entry includes a finisher medal, event t-shirt, and post-race cold breakfast with refreshments. Awards are given to top overall male and female finishers (1st–3rd place), plus 1st place in the 14 & under and Masters (40 & over) categories for each gender. On-site late registration and walk-up entry are available from 7–7:45 AM on race morning. Race fees are $45 for adults and $40 for youth 17 and under. The OBX Running Company organizes the event.
