The race.
Wheatfield Little League's Big Base Race takes place June 20, 2026, in Wheatfield, IN, offering a 5K and 1-mile run/walk option. Both runners and walkers are welcome. Race day registration opens at 6:45 a.m. and closes at 7:45 a.m. The course is an out-and-back format. Awards are given to overall male and female winners in each distance, plus top three finishers in age groups spanning 0–8 through 80+. Early registrants receive t-shirts.
